Tavistock
This was an extremely interesting project. The clients had lived in Asia for many years and had created a diverse collection of beautiful accessories and artifacts from all over the region. Marrying them together in their new home in the Tavistock building was most enjoyable. The textures and materials, shapes and lines made for endless possibilities. They had many emotional values as every piece had its own story. Together they created a stylish and inviting space.
Project highlight:
A most enjoyable trip to Macau in search of a traditional Chinese family portrait, which we hung in the Dining Room. Being given carte blanche over the purchase made it all the more special for me. Rummaging through all the tiny shops down the Rua De San Paulo is a dream for any designer, as it is crammed full of fascinating and unique curios.
