Mid Levels
The client's own vibrant art collection was the main inspiration behind this interior. They were very keen to create an inviting space where guests could be entertained without losing that personal homely feel. It was fun to use colour to lift the artwork and their amazing collection of artifacts. Simple decisions can make such a refreshing difference: here I placed the dining room area rug in the living room and vice versa. The effect was striking and the colours unified the separate seating areas together... and all at no extra cost.
Project highlight:
On the week of the move, the client went into labour with her second child and Hong Kong was hit directly by a typhoon. However, we managed to achieve this result in just five days, thanks to detailed planning and an amazing team of people who worked very hard behind the scenes to make it all possible.
